The earthquake hit Chamba at 9.34 pm on April 4, at a depth of 10km, according to the National Center of Seismology.
The Meteorological Department officials in Shimla reported to PTI that the earthquake started at a depth of 10km.
Additionally, reports state that there were no casualties or property losses as a result of the brief tremors, which lasted only a few seconds. โFor a short moment, I felt a strong jolt. The tremors stopped right as I was about to run downstairs,โ a resident of Chandigarh named Sanjay Kumar told PTI.
