As we know well known Rishabh Rajendra Pant who is an Indian international cricketer plays for the Indian cricket team as a wicket-keeper batsman. On 30th Dec 2022 (today) in the early morning at 5:30 A.M near Roorkee Narcan, Haridwar district, about 90 km from Dehradun. He was seriously injured in this accident. According to Police, the star wicketkeeper-batsman was alone in his Mercedes Glee while he was driving home from Delhi. Suddenly, his car hit the divider railings highway and turned into a ball of fire. When nearby villagers heard the loud sound of the accident then they came with the local cops to the incident spot and started to pull him out of his car. After that, he will be taken to the nearby hospital from where he will be referred to a major hospital in Dehradun, said Swapn Kishor Singh, who is superintendent of police, in Haridwar. He was among the cops who rushed to the incident. A senior officer said that he is having a lot of injuries in his car accident. Basically, he sustained injuries on his forehead, his hand, and his right knee. However, he is conscious to talk because of his major injuries. The car he was driving was completely burnt. Additionally, another police officer, privy to the accident while informing about the possible reason behind the accident, TOl requesting anonymity said that ‘it is likely that he fell asleep while driving because there was no fog on the road which could have affected the visibility. Therefore, he has a cut on his left eyebrow and also having a ligament injury on his right knee, and bruises on his back. Moreover, his burnt car is taken away for further investigation. It is not known even if the airbags had opened or not because nothing is left inside to verify that . Lastly, he is brave and lucky that he survived after serious injuries.
