HSVP is all set to organize the Spring Festival 2023 after a 3-year hiatus. The festival will be commencing on 4th march with the inaugural speech of Haryana Chief Secretary Sanjeev Kaushal while it will be ending on 5th March with the closing speech presided by Haryana Assembly Speaker Gian Chand Gupta.
This time almost 15,000 schools are participating in the various events and interested oneโs can register themselves till 5pm on 4th March. Not to mention, this large scale event will include- rangoli competition, healthy baby show and flower arrangements. Two new contests are being added this time – fruit and vegetable carving and flower jewelry. Nidhi Bhardwaj, Executive Engineer, Horticulture, HSVP informed that anybody can participate in fruit and vegetable crafting while flower jewelry is open for females only.
Stall bookings will be on a first come first served basis. Many interesting awards will be presented to the winner in each event. Besides that, the most interesting point of this yearโs spring festival in Panchkula is that HSVP is planning to introduce chopper rides. Expression of interest has been invited from aviation companies and will be opened on February 23rd.
